Professors from the University of Arizona’s School of Art discuss their forthcoming anthology that addresses the do-it-yourself (DIY) ethos of maker and crafter movements, and the politics of cultural change that undergird them into artistic and educational environments. The presenters will discuss teaching sites as pivotal to cultural change and address arts and education teaching communities invested in art, craft, and social design in the contexts of DIY and social justice.
