Or Why it doesn’t have to fit.

When does fashion become art? Who decides? Where is the common ground? Paula Taylor, Owner and Creative director of Tucson Fashion Week, will focus on a few contemporary 20th-century designers from Pugh to Westwood whose work challenges and critiques social norms. Paula is the owner and creative director of Paula Taylor Productions, an international fashion events management company. Paula has a wide range of expertise and experience in art direction, education, brand consulting and fashion styling she is the author of the textbook “How to Produce a Fashion Show from A to Z.”

Paula Taylor M.S. has been working in the fashion Industry for over three decades. She is a fashion events producer, author, educator, retailer, and consultant. Paula currently owns and operates Paula Taylor Productions, producing and coordinating several regional national and international fashion shows, pop-up shops and refined events yearly. Mrs. Taylor is the Co-Owner of Tucson Fashion Week, a yearly fashion event that brings celebrities, fashion designers and artist from all over the world to Tucson, Arizona. Paula is an Instructor at the Art Institute of Tucson in both the Fashion Design and Marketing programs

And is the author of the definitive textbook on fashion show production titled: How to Produce a Fashion Show from A-Z published by Prentice Hall/ Pearson. Mrs. Taylor continues fashion and business consulting for fashion designers, brands and companies around the globe.
